By using brytonsport.com and the Bryton Gardia App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you are under the age of 12, you may not use them. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from children under age 12. If you are between the ages of 12 and 17, you must get your parent or guardian to read and agree to our Privacy Policy and related service terms.
1. Information We Collect
To continuously improve our app performance, user experience, and feature offerings, we collect certain usage and diagnostic data when you use the Bryton Gardia App and our services. This information may be collected automatically through analytical tools and includes:
- App Usage & Interaction Data: Information regarding how you navigate and interact with the app, features used, session duration, and general app activity.
- Diagnostic & Performance Data: Crash logs, performance diagnostics, error reports, and technical device information (such as device model, operating system version, and unique application identifiers) to help us identify and resolve bugs.
2. Location Information
We collect and use location information strictly on a limited basis:
- Device Pairing: Location services or permissions are accessed only when you are pairing your device (such as connecting your Gardia radar hardware via Bluetooth/system settings as required by operating system permissions).
- We do not track, store, or continuously monitor your real-time geographic location or background location data during normal app usage.
3. Analytics and Third-Party Services (Firebase)
We use Google Firebase (including Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) to collect, process, and analyze user behavior and application performance.
- Firebase Analytics helps us understand user engagement patterns and feature adoption so we can optimize the Bryton Gardia experience.
- Firebase Crashlytics automatically records crash reports and diagnostics when errors occur, enabling our engineering team to maintain stability and reliability.
Google Firebase operates under its own privacy standards and security frameworks. Data collected by Firebase is processed in accordance with Google's privacy practices. You can learn more about how Google uses data when you use our app by visiting Google's Privacy & Terms.
4. Local and Ephemeral Processing
While behavioral data and analytics are transmitted to our analytics providers as described above, core operational calculations, device inputs (such as real-time radar sensor feeds), and active features are executed locally on your device to ensure responsive performance.
5. Device Permissions
If the Bryton Gardia App requests access to device features (such as Bluetooth or location), this access is used solely in real time to enable core product functionality (such as device pairing and connecting to Gardia radar hardware). No audio, video, or private personal files are recorded, stored, or uploaded.
6. Data Security and Retention
We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect the information collected through our services. Analytical data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by applicable laws.
